End-To-End Casting Solutions
Auburn Foundry specializes in manufacturing complex, precise, cored, and highly engineered gray iron castings. Our deep industry experience and well-equipped foundry delivers a complete range of molding, melting and casting solutions for industrial equipment, municipal, and transportation markets.
GRAY CAST IRON NO MOQ’s AND PROTOTYPE FRIENDLY
Versatile, durable, and cost-effective solutions for a wide range of applications. Auburn Foundry can produce a wide-array of castings from simple to highly complex cored assemblies, from 1 to 600 pounds, produced in a wide variety of iron types from Class 20 to Class 45. We use a variety of molding processes including green sand, loose, squeezer, roto-lift, cope/drag, no-bake, match-plate and others. Custom job-shop floor molding up to 44×44 inches, and beyond for specific cases.
ENGINEERING SUPPORT
Highly engineered solutions designed to meet your exact requirements using everything from your old paper drawings or samples, to the latest file types including PDF, DWG, DXF, STEP, IGES, SolidWorks, and others. Whether your design is tried-and-true and well-documented or just an idea of what you want, Auburn Foundry can help satisfy your casting design/build needs.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
Advanced testing and inspection ensure every casting meets the necessary specifications for chemical analysis, NDT, ROHS, REACH, tensile, Brinnel, ASTM A278, and many others. We will work with you to develop a process and measurement plan to meet your needs.
ADDITIONAL VALUE ADDED SERVICES
From engineering and pattern/part design to machining, finishing, primer/painting, media-blast, assembly, heat-treating/annealing, and testing, Auburn Foundry offers many capabilities, in-house and partnered, to tackle all of your iron casting prototype, repair, and production needs.
ON-TIME DELIVERY
Reliable lead times and logistics you can count on. We will handle the packaging, crating, and shipping per your needs. Current lead-times are 4-6 weeks depending on quantity, size, and backlog. We also offer expedited service for urgent projects.
